KAF-1 Wheelchair Access Computer Desk
For this project I designed and created a wheelchair accessible, adjustable height desk for attorney Kevin Fritz, an amazing and inspirational public speaker who helps promote workplace fairness and opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
The desk utilizes torsion box construction that allows for a strong lengthwise span without underneath obstructions. There are also 2 fixed aluminum plate trays for small notebook computers and a central riser that holds the main computer. There is also hidden cable management with aluminum pass throughs. The plywood sub panels and laminate were applied with a vacuum bag setup.

LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business Installation
For this project I designed and constructed a curved floating panel system measuring 5 ft. high by 20 ft. long for artist Simon Gunning’s painting entitled Sunrise at the Rookery. We used a Laguna cnc router to cut a series of grooves in the baltic birch panels to allow them to flex and conform to the curved wall structure. The panels were mounted on similarly kerfed wall cleats mounted toward the upper and lower part of the panels. The 5 panels used floating tenons to join the edges of the panels making for an essentially seamless substrate.
